Photography minor
In my third year (2022) of the Communication and Multimedia Design program, I enthusiastically delved into the world of photography during an exciting minor. The main focus was on creating a photo book, providing a fantastic opportunity for me to immerse myself in this art form. Throughout the classes, we not only received valuable information but were also challenged with assignments and exercises.
Beyond the class hours, we worked on developing various topics to be included in the photo book. Each theme, including texture and rhythm, light, styling, time, and a fascination, offered different options for further exploration. This diversity allowed us to apply our own creative perspectives, resulting in an enriching experience.

Leespret magazine 2023
After a few years of working together with and publishing a couple editions, I've gotten a lot more comfortable with choosing shots, compositions and making edits (if necessary). The magazine has a playful design and is targeted towards kids and their parents.

The photos were made for an instructional purpose to show children in a few simple steps how to create these recipes.

This assignment was one of the first opportunities I’ve had to explore and expand my photography settings in a professional setting. The quality of my photos has definitely improved further since this assignment and I’d love to show you this.

Street photography
As you can see I already have some experience. Aside from the school and work assignments. Photography brings me a lot of joy. One of my favourite types is street photography

Pet photography
Animals are always difficult to photograph. Their rapid and unexpected movements makes it very unpredictable. Because of this I like to practice this type of photography whenever I can. My favourite subjects are my dogs.

Leespret older issues
Since I've worked with this company on multiple issues I've combined older issues in this section. The photo's here had a more amateur look to them. Since it was a magazine for children this did still worked for the target audience.
